But thanks to “candidate sentiment and hesitancy to change roles” employees are not capitalising on the opportunity created by low unemployment and a skills shortage, according to Australia’s largest online employment classified group, Seek.
If you are waiting until your ‘end of year’ review to discuss promotion targets, development or pay rises, then don’t. Now is the best time to do it. Showcasing your knowledge of the external market and your in-demand skills strengthens those conversations.
